Custom Legend LX - CB

Following quickly on the success of the Contour Bowl introduced on the 2005 Collectors guitar, Ovation started offering in the summer of 2005 a Contour Bowl version of the Custom Legend LX.  All other features are standard of the Custom Legend - select sitka spruce top, abalone body binding, 5 piece gloss neck, abalone fretboard inlays, OP-Pro preamp with XLR output, inlayed abalone rosette.  But the model C2079, as shown below in gloss black, has the added benefit of the wonderful Contour Bowl.  This innovative shape has all the benefits of the traditional lyrachord bowl, but has the added comfort of the new contoured shape.  The Custom Legend LX Contour Bowl is currently the top model in the Ovation line and worthy of it.  Click HERE for specifications.
