Ovation Elite 1868

The Ovation Elite series is the wood topped counterpart to the Adamas line, having the same multi-soundhole design and wood epaulets.  Elites can be found in cutaway and non-cutaway as well as deep, mid and super shallow bowls.  There are 6 string and 12 strings and even a few double and triple neck customs.  Many of Ovations Collectors Series are Elite-style designs.  The Elite model 1868 shown here is a super shallow cutaway with gold Schaller tuners and OP-24+C electronics.  The neck is thin and very fast.  The black finish is very attractive and I especially like the black gloss faced headstock with gold logo, while leaving the neck as bare satin finished wood.  This is one of my favorite stage guitars.  Click HERE for specifications.
