Ovation Folklore

The Ovation Folklore was the re-introduction of the original Josh White model.  This time with textured bowl, non-inlaid rosette, walnut bridge, and redesigned neck, headstock and tuners.  This deep bowl model features a 1-7/8 inch width neck attached at the 12th fret.  The slightly wider neck of the Folklore, compared to other steel string models, made it a very comfortable instrument to play, especially for fingerpickers.  The model shown here is the 1614, which has the FET-3 preamp and stacked volume/tone control on the upper bout.  The original chrome tuners have been replaced with gold Schallers and ebony buttons.  Click HERE for specifications.
