This prototype Balladeer from the mid 1990's has no model number or serial number.  Possibly it was made during the development of the S-700 series.  Features a two piece neck, Schaller tuners and OP24+ electronics.  The body is a super shallow bowl size.  The most unique and beautiful thing about this guitar is the fact that it has no body edge binding.  The top is beautifully finished in satin and it just rolls right off onto the bowl.  The fit is perfect, with no sharp edges at all.  The workmanship of this edge detail is outstanding, although probably too costly to go into production.
