To celebrate their 50th anniversary, Ovation produced a very limited run based on their iconic Custom Legend model.  This cutaway version carries along the legacy of the original model married with the latest in technologies and some special anniversary elements never before seen.  The bowl is a slightly cutdown variation of the deep contour bowl matched to a AAA Cedar top trimmed in Koa and Abalone.  Amplification is handled by the OP-Pro Studio preamp.  The whole package is set off by a special 12th fret Phoenix inlay.  Officially the model number is 2077-an50.  My guitar below was obtained via Lost Art Vintage Instruments and is serial number 02 of 50.
