This Ovation Hurricane in sunburst finish is one of the most beautiful guitars I own.  A 1968 model, this particular example is one of the very few made with the narrow 1-11/16" nut width (same width as a 6 string).  It is the only Hurricane I have ever seen with this feature.  The beautiful sunburst finish is the finest I have seen on a Storm guitar and has no lacquer cracks or other flaws.  Several years ago the tuners were upgraded to new enclosed Schallers with pearloid buttons.  Electronics consist of twin high-output pickups with dual volume and tone controls.  All hardware, including the 6 way adjustable bridge, is in perfect condition as is the entire guitar.  As you can see in the photo below I have removed the neck screw cover to show the serial number A-279.    Click HERE for specifications.
