In 2012 the Adamas Custom Shop built a small handful of guitars with traditional spruce wooden tops blended with all the goodies that typically define the Adamas namesake. Shown below is the Wood Top Adamas 6-String prototype in contour bowl cutaway configuration. This guitar is essentially an Adamas II neck on an Adamas body with spruce wooden top. The sound is sweet and mellow with excellent tonal projection and balance. The spruce top is finished in a wonderful New England Burst color with flush inlaid epaulets and matching maple fretboard and inlays.
