Adamas 1687 Deep Bowl String

This Adamas I model 1687 was manufactured in 1990.  The color of the top is the -9 or "brownburst" color.  Very difficult to capture in photos how it really looks.  Almost a tan to blue/gray fade.  This wonderful sounding deep bowl Adamas features the usual carved headstock and bridge. along with the serrated top binfing.  The wooden epaulets feature very distinct shades and wood types.  Gold Schaller tuners top the maple neck and headstock.  Fretboard is black walnut with wooden inlays.  The electronics feature the OP-24 preamp system.  This standard neckwidth Adamas plays very smoothly has that big open Adamas sound.  A truly wonderful instrument.  Click HERE for specifications.
