In 2012 the Adamas Custom Shop built a small handful of guitars with traditional spruce wooden tops blended with all the goodies that typically define the Adamas namesake. Shown below is the Wood Top Adamas 6-String prototype in deep bowl non-cutaway configuration. The guitar has no serial number. Essentially this is a model 1681 Adamas neck on a 1687 Adamas body with spruce wooden top with an amazing amount of power, depth and quality. The tonal range of this instrument is stunning and the only thing to match its voice is its good looks. The spruce top is finished in a deep nutmeg color with flush inlaid epaulets and Adamas neck with maple fretboard.
