C.F. Martin D-18VS

The Martin D-18VS is one of the best sounding acoustic guitars I have ever owned.  Starting at the top, is a beautiful rosewood faced slotted headstock with Waverly open gear tuners.  The Tusq nutwidth is 1-13/16 inch mated to a rosewood fingerboard and a neck that joins the body at the 12th fret.  The 12-fret layout pushes the ebony bridge and bone saddle back towards the lower bout of the body for an amazing tone particularly in the low end.  The gloss finished sitka spruce top and mahogany back/sides are trimmed in a beautiful tortoise shell binding.
